This is REX and CURLEY

A favorite Mini of the artist.   This is a tiny photograph  of  an  original   9x12   watercolor    with

black tape making the background.  Rex and Curley were the pets of the artist.  A father ad son pair of schnauzers.  The original watercolor portrait is now owned by John Peter.  This is the only photo of the original.  A true mini, shadowboxed in a great frame with museum glass.  4x4 is the overall size.   This mini is not part of this project and is in the artist's personal collection.

Created in 2009 for the Magnificent Mini Show in the Artist FRAMING Gallery in Jensen Beach, Florida.  The artist had two schnauzers,  Rex and Curley years ago.  She called them the "Barker Brothers" even though they were father and son.   When this little monopoly piece showed up in her studio one day she got the idea to frame it in this unique way.  Somebody must like schnauzers.   Shadow box style with the dog in front of a tiny abstract watercolor.  Stamped and Museum Glass.  The image size is only 2 x 4 inches, a tiny treasure for someone to enjoy.
